All Communities belonging to the Damanhurian Etulte Region participated in the traditional regional feast celebrating chestnuts. WDR, a German national television station, broadcast a show about Damanhur. The program, dedicated to alternative economic models and virtual capitalistic economies, also presented Damanhur as an example of how free enterprise, combined with solidarity, can contribute to a high standard of living.

A group of Palestinians and Israelis introduced themselves to Damanhurians after Thursday night's serata.

The group is currently living in the eco-village of Tamera, in Portugal, where they are visioning how to create an eco community in their homeland, one of the most controversial places in the world.
