GEN Europe council meeting: Macaco Tamerice new President

The Global Ecovillage Network - Europe council meeting was held at Findhorn in November of 2010. The ambiance of the community created a pleasant and inspiring backdrop for the council to meet and work. Ana from the Findhorn Foundation led a group dynamic for developing communication and leadership, as well as defining roles within the council. This and other intense activity during the meeting has solidified the base of collaboration for GEN Europe's council.

Kosha Anja Joubert transitioned from President of GEN Europe to the role of General Secretary, in order to more effectively coordinate long-term projects of GEN. After serving as GEN Europe's Vice President for several years, Macaco Tamerice has taken on the role of President, receiving support due to the solidity of her past work, such as outreach and continuity within the GEN organization. Deniz Dincel from the Turkish national network has assumed the role of Vice President.
