Luca Poma, journalist and spokesperson for the international campaign of pharmaceutical vigilance, “Hands off the children,” gave a conference at Damanhur Crea as part of the Educating with Intention series. Pomo spoke about the importance of listening to the needs of children and appreciating the uniqueness of new generations, instead of characterizing them as ill. Poma educates on alternatives to medication, offering useful information for those who work in schools and health fields.
Upcoming Conferences Chiara Sozzi, “Keys and codes of communication with children, understanding each other for growing together. ” Sozzi is a pedagogue and family relationship therapist. She explores the relationships within families, bridging generations through a new model of communication.

Iride is a psychologist, artist, and Director of the Damanhur Education Department. Gazzella is a counselor in educational psycho-synthesis, President of the Association Damanhur Education, and Director of the Damanhur School. They shall present Damanhur’s experience in intentional education and family life, and programs for supporting children’s talents. * Damanhur Education has launched this series of encounters called Educating with Intention: Sprouts of New Species, to gather together people involved with children, exploring intentionality of educational action from many points of view. The project envisions educators, families, and youth, together to learn from each other and create a world in which a new generation can grow up happily. The conferences shall consider the choices that impact children, creating a unified field of exploration. The meetings shall have English translation and time dedicated to question and answer, discussions and public participation. |
