Meditation represents the tradition, Damanhur's history and its rituality; all that has been accumulated throughout time by the Damanhurian reality. It
represents the basic ethical principles, which are sustained and expressed in other aspects. Meditation in Damanhur signifies something more than just a discipline or technique. For us 'Meditation' is a way of
conducting our own existence according to spiritual principles. Everyone therefore works on their inner-self thanks to the help of others, to overcome their limitations and reawaken their own divine part, the dormant senses and the consciousness. For us 'Meditation' is the pathway Damanhurians choose to follow in their own lives. Meditation represents the fundamental principles that human beings
constantly search for; to find, discover, study and constantly verify by experimentation and practical application day by day. The principles of Meditation can be applied 24 hours a day. For us Meditation is a wide and illuminated road on which every individual discovers his own way to move in harmony with the universal laws. It is
therefore an interior discipline a continuous field of exploration, a never-ending source of enrichment and density. Through the School of Meditation it is also possible learn to utilize rituals and techniques, which step by step can be applied to spiritual growth, but the various disciplines proposed along the way are only the means and not the end. One of the goals we are working towards is the re-awakening of the human being; as a spiritual, material, divine being, free from the patterns that reduce its essence.
In Damanhur every citizen chooses one of the spiritual
paths called 'Ways' to experiment with their spiritual growth, according to their own aspirations, preferences and skills. In Damanhur the most significant aspects of the day and year are marked by ritual moments in which the meaning and the awareness of existence is celebrated. The spiritual path of the School of Meditation may also be followed by people
who do not live in Damanhur. Le edizioni di Meditazione (Meditation publications) publish for internal use the scripts of the 'Le Serate' given by Oberto Airaudi - Falco. These evenings of study with Falco are also recorded and broadcast via the Internet on the
same day, on Wednesdays and Thursdays (in Italian). |
