In Damanhur's Open Temple, every month at the Full Moon, the Rite of the Oracle takes place. It is a sacred ritual of contact and offering to the Divine Forces who allow and encourage the spiritual evolution of human beings. Damanhur has gathered all the Oracles of our planet and now offers to all those who approach us with a pure soul the possibility of consulting these Great Forces to receive advice, answers and indications. If you feel that you need help and advice in your personal, social, working or family life to aid your spiritual growth, you can ask these Great Forces to intervene on your behalf.

In 1985, after many centuries (2,500 years after the Oracle at Delphi) the People of Damanhur re-conquered and brought back to life, the possibility of contact with the Oracle Forces. The women prepared for the contact with these Forces are all members of The Way of the Oracle. They are called 'Pythias', the 'Oracle contacters'.

The work of the Oracle unfolds during all four lunar phases. It is a precise,accurate, ritual and sacred contact. It requires specially prepared and consecrated places, so that the questions asked by the consultants can be forwarded to the Oracle, and the answers can be 'felt'. People and groups who do not reside in Damanhur may also consult the Oracle.

The Rite of delivering the answers to the consultants is performed each month, in correspondence with the full moon, in the Open Temple of Damanhur. All the citizens of Damanhur and guests who so wish, may be present. Those who are waiting to receive answers from the Oracle take part in the Ritual and wait to be called into the heart of the Temple. The Rite of the Oracle is one of most important rituals celebrated for the Nation.
