The Damanhur Civil Defence Association

The Damanhur Civil Defence Association was established with the intention of sharing the experience developed by the citizens of Damanhur in the field of voluntary work.

From the very beginning, the Damanhurians have operated a service for the environment, properties and the population. More than 120 volunteers are committed to working in this field, with their own equipment, in operations on the national territory and at an international level. The Damanhurian teams have taken part in a mission to Albania, to provide aid for the refugees of Kosovo, and they have intervened many times Piedmont and on Italian territory in emergency situations due to earthquakes and floods.
