The love for nature and respect for every form of life that characterises Damanhurian thought has driven young pioneers to found the Damanhur Forest Fire Fighters team.The AIB or Forest Fire Fighters team was immediately very active on the territory, intervening in collaboration with the Forest Rangers and other voluntary groups.

In the mid 1980s, the Damanhurian AIB group, in collaboration with the other Fire Fighting teams that had meanwhile formed on the national territory, founded the present Piedmont Forest Fire Fighting Corporation.

The team represents a solid pillar of the Damanhur Civil Defence Association and guarantees 24 hour cover in Valchiusella and in Upper Canvese with two groups: AIB Baldissero Damanhur and AIB Vidracco Damanhur.
